How to use Narakeet ?
To begin with narakeet.com, open any web browser of your choice, such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox or others. Then, type narakeet.com in the search bar and click on the first link. This will take you to the narakeet.com dashboard. The interface should look like this image.
On this page, you can see all the features that we mentioned before. There are some menus on the top of the site, such as tools, use cases, help, voices, pricing, news. Then, on the right side, there are two options – my account and sign up. You can sign up or use it without signing up or creating an account. We will focus on two important features of Narakeet – text to speech.
Text to audio
click on the tool menu. You will see four options under tools. Select text to audio. You will see a dashboard like this in the image.
Here, you can enter or copy your content or you can upload a file of plain text (.txt), MS Word (.docx and .doc), MS Excel (.xlsx and .xls), PDF, EPUB, RTF, Open Document (.odt, .ods) and subtitle (.srt, .vtt) formats. Here, you can see three kinds of settings. The first one is
- Language Selection: Explore a diverse array of languages, ranging from globally spoken ones to regional gems like Hindi and Urdu. Take your pick from this extensive list to set the tone.
- Voice Options: Embark on a journey of voice discovery as you browse through our selection of voices. Both male and female options are available for you to choose from. To truly experience the voice’s essence, click on the preview icon next to each voice.
- Enhanced Options: To access more voices, simply click on the “+” icon adjacent to the drop-down menu. This action will expand the list, unveiling a world of possibilities.
Expanded List: As the list unfolds, you’ll find an array of features to customize your audio experience:
- Volume: Fine-tune the volume to your preference, choosing from options like soft, standard, loud, and normalized. Achieve the perfect auditory balance.
- Speed: Tailor the pace of the speech to suit your needs. Select from options such as slow, normal, fast, or even set a custom speed for a personalized touch.
- Format: Personalize the audio output format to seamlessly integrate with your project. Opt for formats like M4A, MP3, or WAV, ensuring compatibility.
- Output: Define how you’d like the final audio to be presented. Choose from three options: a single audio file, audio paired with closed captions/subtitles, or a dedicated audio file for each scene, conveniently bundled in a zip archive. Adapt these options to match your creative vision.
